Now it is possible to use the Online Bibel DVD-rom on an iMac or on a computer with Linux.

For use on an iMac is a special Mac-app developed. This Mac-app makes it possible to install the most recent pressing of the Online Bibel dvd content (11-09) together with the special update of the software on your iMac.
The use of this special app and the Online Bible software is tested under Mac OS X Leopard and Lion.

What you need?

• Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or 10.7 (Lion)
• The special Online Bible wrapper Mac-app
• Online Bijbel software update 4.13
• De last pressing of the Online Bible DVD (edition 11-09)

• Computer with Linux Ubuntu and an installation of Wine
• Special software update 4.13
• The most recent Online Bible DVD (edition 11-09)

Installation on an iMac

1. Check your Mac operates under Snow Leopard (10.6) or Lion (10.7)?
2. Download the special Online Bible wrapper (onlinebiblewrapperinstall.dmg) and save it on your desktop (a dmg-file operates like a virtual disk - installing the wrapper installs the needed files to be able to install the Online Bible and prepares your Mac)
3. Start the wrapper with a doubleclick
4. As soon as you see the OnlineBibleWrapper icon with a large yellow arrow under it pointing to Applications, drag and drop the OnlineBibleWrapper to the pointed Applications
5. Start Finder and search under Applications for OnlineBibleWrapper
6. Drag and drop the OnlineBibleWrapper to the Dock along the bottom of your desktop
7. Close the virtual dmg-drive in Finder under Devices by clicking the Eject icon after Online Bible Install (if you don't do this installation will fail)
8. Download the Online Bible update (4.13.02 or later) and save the file on your desktop
9. Put the Online Bible dvd 11-09 (release after September 2011) in the drive (older dvd-editions will not work)
10. Drag and drop the downloaded update 4.13.02 to the OnlineBibleWrapper on the Doc of your desktop
11. The installation and configuration of the Online Bible software starts
12. After Online Bible is installed you may Eject the DVD disc
13. To close the Online Bible click File>Exit. This will preserve your settings for when you start Online Bible again
14. To relaunch Online Bible, click on the OnlineBibleWrapper in the dock and Online Bible will appear in a few seconds

Installation under Linux

1. Check you have installed a current version of Wine?
2. Download the special Online Bible update 4.13
3. Put the Online Bible dvd 11-09 (release after September 2011) in the drive (older dvd-editions will not work)
4. Start the downloaded file wine41302.exe
5. The remaining part will operate identical as on a Windows computer
